Critique #1

I’m really proud of this shoot. For a first shoot, I think this was a really good starting ground. I think I’m going to take lily’s advice and shoot closer to my subjects so that the portrait feels more intense. I think I’m also gonna be focusing more on composition in my next couple of shoots. I did a lot of focusing on my histogram and lighting both in post and during shooting. Next shoot I’m going to focus more on texture and composition. I think I want to play it less safe with my next round of editing.

I appreciate the critiques a lot even though they couldn’t see my first couple of images. I think I have to focus more on color grading in my edits in the future.
